Workout of the Week 4.21.2020

Welcome to the first blog post of CK Collective! Part of our mantra will always be business-focused, but part of becoming great at work, is becoming great outside of it, as well. The four pillars of life should always be: health, wealth, relationships and mindset in my humble opinion. All four are encompassing to our own success, and whether that is through meditation, yoga, fitness, diet or something else entirely, you’ve got to constantly be improving in these four areas. Which, is why - I’ll be blogging about various workouts week-to-week, in an effort to help you strengthen your body, mind and the relationship between the two.

Strong body, strong mind. Easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, easy life.

Let’s get to it.

The Workout:

Aftermath:

Now, if you are able to do pull-ups, that’s great! Find a pull-up bar, get some push-ups in and do the flutter kicks as necessary. This is a great workout to do in quarantine, or if there is an outdoor gym, or some type of monkey bar/tree branch where you can get a good workout in.

Scaling:

If you need to dial back a bit, then do so as needed. Scaling down to five rounds (while keeping the reps high) will be a good way to still get a good 15-20 minute workout in. If you cannot do pull-ups or find a bar, please substitute burpees. Knee push-ups are available for scaling, as well. Do your best with flutter kicks (four-count) or scale down to a more appropriate number.

I’ll be sharing more weekly workouts, music, tips, tricks, case studies and more from the CK Collective to share more about what I believe the four pillars of life should be. Health, Wealth, Relationships & Mindset.

See you out there. Let me know what you think about this workout.
