Business Process Optimization - CMO For Hire
Mission.
Dylan Welch Media is a Media Services Agency that focuses on content creation, podcast, public relations and marketing in San Diego, California. In order to reach new markets, DWM knew they had too many service offerings and wanted to narrow down their messaging to existing clients for their own in-house podcast, ‘Going Green.’ To do this, they reached out to CK Collective to help them organize, strategize, optimize and execute a more concise strategic marketing plan.
Intel.
Having an in-house podcast with ‘Going Green’ and an upcoming ‘Green Watches’ company, DWM knew they needed to better delegate and optimize their current range of services. Time was not being spent well on growing their business, and there was a lot of manual effort needed to maintain their existing roster of clients. To do this, they knew something needed to change.
Tactics.
Sorting our priorities was the first thing to do with DWM. To do this, we looked at the personal habits of executive leadership and had them do the biggest things first. Where did they want to spend the most time? Was it growing the podcast and automating the watch company? From an outsiders perspective, it was easy to see where corners could be cut, and automating / delegating the small more menial tasks to staff so DWM could focus on getting new clients, interviewing them and creating content was key.
Outcome.
Dylan Welch Media’s podcast, ‘Going Green’ has premiered on ABC, NBC, CBS, Amazon Prime, Forbes & Entrepreneur Magazine. Since working with CK Collective, DWM has nearly doubled in views, gained over 10k new followers on Instagram and has optimized their outbound marketing and messaging to be clear, concise and to the point. The’ve also saved time by automating the shipping of their Green Watches company, and have created an inbound sales funnel to filter various guests coming onto the show, who are now paying for guest appearances instead of DWM soliciting leaders in the sustainability industry to appear on the show. DWM has also created a $5,000 marketing services package so companies can outsource their marketing efforts.
