Dumbbell workouts are the best. I’ve been training for a marathon, but have been sparingly hitting some DB workouts at home and outside in my spare time. I believe everyone should have a dumbbell, kettlebell, jump rope, and some other items at their house in case they want to go and get after it.
Today, I did an AMRAP this morning at 5:20 AM and was focused on getting as many rounds as possible:
Workout of the Week:
20 minutes of:
20 Mountain Climbers
20 DB Rows (10 each side)
10 push-ups
Now, 20-minutes was a long time to do this workout and it torched my upper body. I hit it pretty hard and quick, and by the end of my 20-minutes was certainly pretty sore. 10 rows each side followed by push-ups, and then right into a plank position for the mountain climbers….woof.
It’s a good one, try it on for size. Test it out, save it for later, let me know what you think. Order some DB’s and KB’s from Rogue or Onnit.

20 deadlifts with the kettlebell (whatever weight your KB is)
200-meter run
20 push-ups
30 air squats
40 shoulder taps
